I would agree that buyers are probably hard to find. No matter how nice yours are, they are still competing against that shinny new bolt together kit you can get from the hardware store for $229.00 or so. Most people can’t appreciate the difference, and quite frankly, don’t cook well enough to taste the difference either.

Keep them advertised tho, it just takes one person to want one and maybe when this pandemic is over and we can finally hang out again their will be more interest.

I have two plastered all over Facebook Marketplace, and also sitting out by the side of the road. I have the Cadillac priced at $2,000 and the Ugly Duckling at $1,250, being it's a little used. I know 2 grand is a lot of money, but they have one pretty similar at Gator Pits for $3,400 and Millscale's is $4200. I see a lot of people slow down and look, then take off, I guess when they see the price. :D
I suppose I just have to hope for the right person to drive by.

Just a thought but did you paint them? I wonder if the “rusted look” might not be accepted on many patios. Hate to spend money to sandblast and paint but it would cover up a lot of imperfections and gives it a more finished look to most people.

I had to paint the big easy, she was starting to rust up already. Finally got around to trying out the new spray gun, that thing rocks! Oh yeah, that's my new firebox heat dump I'm gonna try out.

Is that 2” square tubing you put on as a small stack?

Yep, that's the firebox heat dump. But it's 3x2 rectangle tubing. Just a little experiment. This one isn't for sale, so I can mess around and try things out.

Thanks! First time I ever used a spray gun. I didn't thin the rustoleum at all, just dumped it in and took off with it.

I used this Yattich that I bought on Amazon, with the 1.5 tip.
