How did everyone make out hunting this year? I got this pig the last week of our rifle season he dressed 240.

You can't hunt with sweat dripping off of you so you wait for the occasional ''cold'' day (50 degrees). We don't get a lot of cold weather down here but thankfully season lasts from mid Nov til mid Feb.

I actually wish our season started later like yours. I don't usually start seeing decent bucks until the end of our season. They just don't budge. Cooler weather and the need to breed pushes them out deep cover. Not to mention I'm partial to that cold weather to hunt in colder the better. When it's snowing sideways bitter cold I reach down and turn up the heater in my treehouse lol.
