You sly fox....How long did you think you could keep this from us? Is this the project you may have hinted to on a few occasions? This is all free material? That looks very accommodating. Can't see in the shadow, is that the kitchen sink?

lol, it's almost all free material I did buy the small angle and flat bar and the axle and trailer jack and expanded metal. But the hitch I use on another trailer too so it was free too.

That's one heck of a trailer you've got there, I like the wood basket on the side.

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

In looking again at your pictures, I see the swing out bowl. How are you planning to heat this in order to cook something on it?

It is like a charcoal grill, I have made 2 racks for it one will be adjusted to cooking level and the other will set above that one and since they will both be on the same shaft holding them up the top one can swing out of the way if you want to address something cooking on the lower level. You know there is always kids that just want hot dogs or hamburgers so I added this to meet that need. When I get her all painted up I'll show some more pics of how it works, if you didn't understand my Texan explanation. lol

Oh... Got it now. I called a friend in Amarillo and another in Austin...they explained it!
Your explanation gave me a much clearer understanding. So your really covering all bases. I'm sure the painted parts will detail the highlights

I thought I would post a couple pics of it together so you can see how it works.
I hope it will look better when details are complete.

It's a good concept with functional use. Would be a good addition to almost any trailer combo or even outdoor kitchen area

Anything there to lock those grates/bowl during travel?

Oh I thought you might have seen in one of the earlier pictures the bowl stowed in the framework of the rear wood basket. I believe one of the grates will also. But everything is one one shaft in an tube type of assembly. There is an receiver tube mounted on the back of the FB. The swing arm sets in that, then the basin sets in a tube in that, then a 14" shaft slides in a tube in the basin, then the grates stack on each other using the same system. So it all comes apart to be stowed until needed.
Is that clear as mud! No wise cracks about the shafts mentioned above DC.
Making memories.
