I'm probably in the minority but I'm a less is more kind of guy when it comes to a burger. I usually get ground sirloin with bacon and season it with weber gourmet burger. I have a mold that makes a 1/3 lb patty that ends up bun size after it's cooked. A good bun, little mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. Man, you've done made me hungry now!!

Re: Looking for the ultimate burger patty recipe
I have dabbled with mixing spices and such with the ground beef but in doing so it changes the texture of the finished product in such a way that isn't appealing to me. I have tried a Texas Roadhouse steak seasoning recipe from the web and makes a pretty tasty burger.

That's funny "fat kid", I was putting some weight on my step daughter and she told me I don't want to be in "the fat kid club" any more.
