:welcome: looks like it will be a sweet unit, just make sure you run the numbers through the pit calc & throat calc so you get a unit that runs as good as it looks. :kewl:

Or purchase "The Mack" plans when they become available. Look kind of similar.

Not doing it in prison... lol But we are doing it for those in prison. Our bbq funds ministry teams that go into prisons.

If I may ask, from where did you order the 36" pipe? Was it a drop section or was it cut at 36" at your request?

I have a friend that runs a local metal fab shop, Mast Farm Services. One of their suppliers actually rolls it out of 1/4" flat sheet. This means there will be a seam to weld. I also suspect the door will spring easier since it is rolled. It is 36" x 60"

I wonder if the door would wrap as bad if you cut the door before you welded the seam? If you just tacked the seam and cut the door?

OOPS: I am using a 30" pipe instead of a 36" as I stated earlier... was doubling checking all my calcs today and started to panic when my FB kept showing 76%. Then I realized I am using 30" instead of 36"
