Here is a short video about how to safely cut open a propane tank. I hope you find it useful.
P.S. Sorry about the wind noise LOL.
 

 

Here is a short list of the things you will need-

  • Water
  • Dish Washing soap. I recommend Dawn.
  • TSP or Tri Sodium Phosphate. I like the powdered kind.
  • A place to dump out the water. Trust me… You don’t want to dump it out near your house. It makes the neighbors sad and your wife Mad!

 

100 pound Propane Bottle


 
Use 2 pounds of TSP per 100 gallons of water and use plenty of Dawn.
